Artist comment -
The progression of leaf colours has always fascinated me. Seeing the beauty in all stages of 'decay'.
Form, surface and shadow are an integral part of my artworks. The leaves sit closely at the intersection between 2D and 3D, being cut canvas they are flat .. then they are hung on gallery pins, which holds them out from the wall, giving movement and shadow, reminiscent of the dappled forest.
